Container gantry crane (hereinafter referred to as yard bridge) is the main equipment for container handling in the construction of national economy. It is widely used in major construction projects such as port loading and unloading, logistics and transportation, as well as national defense security. The traditional winding mode of the yard bridge can not restrain the swing of the container in both directions of the crane and trolley. In order to improve the loading and unloading efficiency of the yard bridge, a set of anti-swing system needs to be added, which can quickly stop the swing of the container and improve the loading and unloading efficiency of the container.
This anti-swing system includes mechanical and electronic ones, which can be divided into two categories: anti-swing system with auxiliary device and anti-swing system without auxiliary device. Although the electronic anti-swing system has a simple structure, its principle model is complex, its price is expensive, and the operator is prone to discomfort during use. However, the anti-swing system with auxiliary device increases the cost due to the addition of auxiliary device, and has a large amount of maintenance, which limits the scope of use. Anti-sway system without auxiliary device is generally realized by diagonal pulling of lifting rope. The lifting rope is not only the working rope for loading and unloading goods, but also the working rope of anti-sway system. This paper introduces a new type of 12-rope bearing anti-sway system with two-way anti-sway function applied on the field bridge.
